Informatics Ventures was established in 2008 to inspire, connect and support Scotland’s technology entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial technology companies.
Our flagship investor readiness programme, Engage Invest Exploit (EIE), culminates in the biggest UK investment conference of its type outside London. So itis much #MoreThanADay. Companies commit to a process, a bespoke pitch and investor readiness programme and the Informatics Ventures team works with them over an extended period delivering activities including workshops, seminars and review panels led by experienced entrepreneurs, all to ensure they are #pitchfit for the day.
In addition to the investor readiness programme associated with EIE, Informatics Ventures hosts a regular networking series, iVTuesday’s, featuring inspirational speakers – technology heroes, technology investors and global success stories. Previous speakers include Chris van der Kuyl, Dame Stephanie Shirley, Stan Boland and NASA’s Rob Ambrose. Informatics Ventures encourages entrepreneurs to network with peers, mentors and investors and experience the serendipitous outcomes that can result from these connections.
An essential partner in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Informatics Ventures has a proven track record in supporting globally ambitious tech businesses to success.
Being an integral part of the Bayes Centre and community brings our activities to a wider audience internally and externally to further our vision to position Informatics Ventures and EIE as the international flagship for technology innovation, attracting world-class investors to the heart of the data capital of Europe.
Through practitioner-led entrepreneurship education and community networking, Informatics Ventures prepares and equips technology entrepreneurs with the skills and experience to scale their businesses and take it to a global stage.
